A Great Start with Unexpected Events
We begin each year with our “Vision Sunday”, this is one of our favorite services of the year! During the Vision, we looked back at the prior year with a short highlight video and we recognized those who read through the Bible or read through the New Testament in 2025. We looked at the present with the unveiling of the new theme for the year, and we looked at the future with goals we have as a church and for each believer. This year our theme is “Guard Your Heart”. Each month we will be studying different hearts we can have as a result of guarding (or not guarding) our hearts. After the service we had our annual sandwich competition and one of the ladies in the church one by one vote. This is something fun we do that the church family enjoys. January was a great blessing, with a few unexpected events, most notably our daughter Piper had to have an emergency appendectomy. We are grateful for how God has watched over her and we are seeing His goodness as she recovers.
The sub-theme for February is “The Hard Heart”, we will be continuing our study of Matthew 13 and the parable of the Sower. We have had several visitors the past few weeks, please be praying with us that God will work in each of them. We have two young ladies that we hope to see start discipleship this month, we also are praying for two young men in particular, that they both will receive Jesus as Savior! Please pray that God will continue to work and grow His church!
Serving Together,
Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry
