We started our missions conference last night. This is the first event we have had apart from our Sunday morning services and our Friday night youth nights since the quarantine. Missionary/Pastor Freddy Paz from Peru preached the service and emphasized the need in Peru. Tonight we will have Pastor Jorge Rodriguez from Paraguay. Pastor Jorge will preach a Bible message and will also be emphasizing the need in Paraguay. We will conclude the missions conference on Sunday with a special emphasis on Argentina. We are grateful to be able to have the conference this year. Pray with us that God continues to work in the services.

Mission Conference and Thursday Night Services

We were able to continue with our Friday night youth services and Sunday morning services during February. We still have families who are watching the services online because of the threat of COVID-19, we have also had visitors during this time. One of the highlights of the month was our couples fellowship. It was great to be able to share Bible truth with members, visitors, and even a few who are not yet believers!

This month we will be starting our mid-week services back up! This is an exciting step forward. We will also have our annual mission conference! We currently support two missionaries as a church. We have a missions emphasis all year round, and the conference is just another opportunity to focus on reaching the world! The Bible College Classes will also resume this month. We will have three men training for the ministry! These young men are serving in the church as they attend the Bible College classes.

Slowly, we are returning back to the way things were. We are still abiding by the restrictions, and we are pressing forward!

Prayer Requests

• Pray for the missions conference this month.
• Pray for our Thursday night mid-week service.
• Pray for those in the Bible College students as we return back to classes.
• Pray for our ladies fellowship this month.

One of the exciting things we see each week is the discipleship ministry that goes on throughout the week at the church property and in homes of members. Members who have been discipled are now reaching out and discipling others!

The youth group had there Friday night service last night. It was a blessing to study the Bible together! We will be having our Sunday morning service tomorrow. We will also be starting our Thursday night services in March.

This Sunday is a special Sunday at Faith Baptist Church! We have “the Vision”. It is a service where we look back on 2020, and look at the theme, plans, and goals for 2021. It is something we look forward to each year. We have the calendar planned out for the year with special events, services, conferences, and fellowships. We will also be sharing the plan to return back to the way things were before the quarantine (adding back the other weekly services, evangelistic outreach, and discipleship classes). It will be a blessing to be able to share with the church what we hope to see God do this year.
