March was a very busy month at Faith Baptist Church. We were able to resume our midweek services, this was after a year of not being able to meet on Thursday nights! Now we are meeting Sunday mornings, Thursday nights, and Friday nights (youth group service). Our hope is to be able to start back up our evangelism on Saturdays and add our Sunday evening services. We were also able to start discipleship with two new people and also baptized two believers. The ladies had a beautiful fellowship where one of the ladies in the church taught a lesson on Hannah. The highlight of the month was our Mission Conference. It was the first multi-service event we have had since the quarantine. The church was challenged to do more for Jesus, set their eyes on Jesus and on the need in Argentina and around the world.

We start off April with our Easter Conference. This is a big event in our church. We also will start the Bible College back up this month. We have three young men training for the ministry. Pray for them with us. They also are serving in each service and in the church during the week. I believe one of the highlights of the month will be the celebration of the 4th Anniversary of the church! Much is going on, and we are trusting God to work in it all!

Today is a special day for Faith Baptist Church. One of the young men who is training for the ministry and his wife have just welcomed a baby boy! This is an exciting time for them and for us, because they met each other in the church. Please pray for these new parents, Matías and Mica and their new baby boy, Gioavanni. 

We had visitors last night at our third midweek service since the quarantine. We will have our Friday night youth service tonight. We also look forward to Sunday, Eric, one of the young men training for the ministry, will be preaching a short message during the service! Thank you for praying for us. 

We started our missions conference last night. This is the first event we have had apart from our Sunday morning services and our Friday night youth nights since the quarantine. Missionary/Pastor Freddy Paz from Peru preached the service and emphasized the need in Peru. Tonight we will have Pastor Jorge Rodriguez from Paraguay. Pastor Jorge will preach a Bible message and will also be emphasizing the need in Paraguay. We will conclude the missions conference on Sunday with a special emphasis on Argentina. We are grateful to be able to have the conference this year. Pray with us that God continues to work in the services.

Mission Conference and Thursday Night Services

We were able to continue with our Friday night youth services and Sunday morning services during February. We still have families who are watching the services online because of the threat of COVID-19, we have also had visitors during this time. One of the highlights of the month was our couples fellowship. It was great to be able to share Bible truth with members, visitors, and even a few who are not yet believers!

This month we will be starting our mid-week services back up! This is an exciting step forward. We will also have our annual mission conference! We currently support two missionaries as a church. We have a missions emphasis all year round, and the conference is just another opportunity to focus on reaching the world! The Bible College Classes will also resume this month. We will have three men training for the ministry! These young men are serving in the church as they attend the Bible College classes.

Slowly, we are returning back to the way things were. We are still abiding by the restrictions, and we are pressing forward!
