Salvation, Discipleship, and Growth

September was another incredible month! We were able to lead people to trust in Jesus, for their salvation, start discipleship with new believers and continue discipleship with others, and we were able to see another young man surrender his life to serve Jesus in the ministry! God is blessing our church as we continue serving Him and proclaiming the Gospel to others! On top of that, because of the the ministry of BEAMS Bibles, we are able to give these new believers their own Bible!

We have two young men who have surrendered their lives to serve Jesus in the ministry. We have started a Bible College and they are our first students. We are praying for more young men to surrender this year to serve Jesus in the ministry. Please pray this way with us!

In October we have Mother’s Day (Mother’s Day is celebrated on October 20). This will be our big event for the month. We will have special gifts for every mother present during the Sunday morning Service. Pray

Prayer Requests

• Pray for our Mother’s Day activity. 
• Pray for more men to surrender in our church to be in the ministry. 
• Pray for those who are receiving Bibles that God use His Word in their hearts!

 

We are currently in one of our seminary classes with the two young men who have surrendered their lives to serve Jesus in the ministry. We also currently have over 8 people in discipleship with more who will be starting discipleship soon! One of our young men is discipling another man in the church. This is an exciting new opportunity as men we are discipling are discipling others!

This Sunday we will be concluding our series on the family. The Lord has used this month to really strengthen the families of our church!

We are in the midst of our first family conference. We started the conference on Thursday and had missionary Shawn Bateman preach the service. It was a blessing to have him. On Friday night we had Pastor Matias Aguilera preach. During each service we heard a testimony of one of our members that shared how God is working in their families! Tonight we will continue the conference with a special couples fellowship. Tomorrow will conclude the conference with the biggest service of all with a special “family photo service” where we will be taking special photos of every family who attends. I believe the Lord is working in the hearts of those who are attending. Pray with us that God works in the special fellowship tonight as well as tomorrow!

Over the 10 days or so we have had the opportunity to lead 3 people to Jesus! A little over a week ago we had the opportunity to sit down with a neighbor of the church named Clara. Clara is 71 years old. She trusted Jesus as her Savior that day and is going to be baptized soon! Last Wednesday we started discipleship with a man who trusted Jesus as Savior during that lesson! On Sunday morning we had a young lady respond during the invitation. We spoke with her about salvation and she believed on Jesus as well! The Lord is at work in our church!

We currently have two young men studying in our Bible College to be in the ministry. Both young men are also serving in the services of the church. We are praying for 3 more young men to surrender their lives to Jesus to be in the ministry and start training by the end of this year. Please pray with us.
