Mother’s Day in October

We enjoyed a wonderful month of blessings in the ministry in September with a few “first-time” events in both churches. Faith Baptist Church had their first deacon’s meeting, the church now has two deacons who are eager to serve their church family. Hope Baptist Church had an exciting event, “Family Photo Day” with new visitors who were able to hear the Gospel. We were also able to see the discipleship ministries in both churches continue to grow. This month, three ladies will complete the discipleship program at Faith. We hope to start a new one-on-one discipleship meeting at Hope with a lady who has recently completed the discipleship program and will be teaching a young lady in the church! Both churches also began their Bible Classes last month, we are excited for our men’s and ladies’ classes! We were able to survey the country of Paraguay with the Prater family, who will be completing their language school and cultural acquisition period with us at the beginning of next year. 

The main event this month will be Mother’s Day. This is an opportunity to invite others to the churches who normally would not attend. We will begin the day with a special breakfast, “Medialunas con Mamá”. We are praying that the Lord use His Word to work in the hearts of all who will be present. Thank you for praying for the ministry, God is at work and we are pressing forward.
