An Exciting Kid’s Festival and Kid’s Day

At Hope Baptist Church, we had our Kid’s Festival and Kid’s Day Service in August,
and both were a great blessing. We had a great number of families participate in the
Kid’s Festival, Pastor Brian (preached a clear presentation of the Gospel, we believe
we had many who heard the Gospel for the first time! The following day we had our
Kid’s Day Service and we had several first time visitors present.

We have several special events going on this month. At Hope Baptist Church we will
have our Family Photo Day, this has been a tremendous day at Fatih Baptist Church
and believe the Lord will bless it at Hope as well. We will also begin our 13 week
Bible Classes this month, with two classes (a Ladies Class and a Mens Class).
These classes are a chance for the men and women of the church to use their
spiritual gifts by teaching one of the classes.

Leslie and I will be accompanying missionaries Robbie and Lauren Prater on their
survey trip to Paraguay. The Praters have been with us now for 1 1/2 years, they
have completed language school and cultural acquisition, and with the Lord’s
blessing will be starting a church in Asunción, Paraguay next year. Please pray for
the specific events going on in the ministries of Faith and Hope Baptist Church as
well as the future ministry of the Prater family.
