Today is a special day at Faith Baptist Church! The ladies of the church have a special conference today. They have been planning it since the beginning of the year. Other sister churches have been invited, and have brought many ladies to this special conference. It is exciting to see how the ladies at Faith Baptist Church have planned this event and how they are seeing others to make this conference a blessing. There are over 160 ladies in the church right now! Please pray with us, that God use each of the speakers, the music, and the testimonies, for His glory!

Spiritual Growth Conference and Mother’s Day

September was a wonderful month with several highlights, including finishing up another semester in the Bible College, and starting the new semester! The young men who are training are enjoying the classes and putting into practice what they are learning.

This month we have our Spiritual Growth Conference. Assistant Pastor Michael Long will be here with a group for a missions trip and he will be preaching the conference! We are looking forward to this time with the church. We also have Mother’s Day this month (Mother’s Day is in October in Argentina). We will have a big service that day and will surely have several visitors!! Please pray for the conference and the Mother’s Day service!

We have also started another evangelistic campaign. The church is excited to be the light in our community. Along with the campaign, we are preaching on soul winning in every Sunday morning service! It is exciting to see the progress we are making and we are trusting that God will use our efforts to see more people saved! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support!

Our Kid’s Festival, Kid’s Day, and a First-Time Preacher

We enjoyed a wonderful August with two special events! We had our annual Kid’s Festival on August 19. We had inflatables, games, face-painting, and even clowns! It was greatly attended with many people we met for the first time! The next day was Kid’s Day, in Argentina we celebrate Kid’s Day just like Father’s Day or Mother’s Day. It was exciting to see several of the children come to church for the first time because of the Kid’s Festival, and we also had a new family. Please pray for these children and this new family, that God will use us to continue to share the message of the Gospel with them. There was also another great event in August, Leandro is a young man in the Bible College, he is a faithful witness to those outside of the church and servant to those in the church! Last month, he preached the main message for the first time in a church service. The church was encouraged and so was Leandro! We are thankful for the young men who are training to reach others and plant churches. 

We will begin an evangelistic campaign this month, and are praying that God will use us to lead others to Jesus. Please pray for our efforts as we share the Gospel with the lost, disciple new believers, and train men for the ministry.

Independence Day, A New Baby, and Our Upcoming Kid’s Day

We celebrated Argentina’s Independence Day on July 09, and we did it in style with an Old Fashion Sunday service! We had special music, old fashion dress, and a message from our special guest preacher! We also enjoyed a fellowship afterwards with all types old fashion foods! It was exciting to see the men dressed up as gauchos (Argentine cowboys) and the women dressed up as paisanas (women from the country). We are already starting to plan it for next year. We also had a baby born in the church, Diego and Xoana had Mateo just a few weeks ago, mom and baby are doing well! It is exciting to see this new couple living for God and we are praying for little Mateo, that he grows in this new Christian home!

This month we will be celebrating “Kid’s Day” (an actual day that is celebrated in Argentina). We will have a kid’s festival on Saturday and a special Sunday service for the kids on Sunday. Please be praying for these special events, they are great opportunities to preach the Gospel to many who do not normally attend church!
