We are the Henry family. We have been serving Jesus as missionaries in Argentina since 2016. My wife Leslie and I have four beautiful daughters who serve the Lord alongside us. We are planting churches and training men to advance the Gospel in Argentina and around the world. It is not always easy, but God has been with us every step of our journey! He is so good to us! This blog is designed to take you on the journey with us. We have posts ranging from quick updates, to unique cultural norms and mores, to thoughts on world evangelism, to our monthly prayer letters. Our blog is updated often, be sure to check back and go on this journey with us!
January 2022 Missions Letter
Happy New Year!
We are on furlough and we are greatly encouraged to hear how God is working through Pastor Matías, Pastor Eric, and the church. We encouraged the church not to go into “maintenance mode”, but to continue to grow in the grace of Jesus and advance the Gospel. It has only been just over a month and we are already hearing about how God is working!
This month at Faith Baptist Church, Pastor Matías will be leading the church in our annual vision service, lead in a baptismal service and the Lord’s Supper, and host a special ministry highlight service. The ministry highlight service will be an effort to get every member of the church involved in a specific ministry. We are praying for this special service as well as the other events for January.
This month we have meetings scheduled in Georgia, Mississippi, and Florida. We are grateful for each opportunity to share what God has done in our first term, and what we are trusting Him to do in our second term (see our furlough plans below for more information). Thank you for praying for us and the ministry God is doing in Argentina.
Serving Together,
Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry

Our Furlough Plans
We have seen God work during our first term. We have seen people saved, baptized, and discipled. We have seen Jesus build His church! We have seen God call men into the ministry, we have watched them grow and serve in the church. We are now on furlough and we are scheduling meetings for 2022. If you would like to have us in to share what God has done in the ministry here, please contact us. You can email me at p_henry@me.com. We would be honored to share with you what God has done during our first term and what we are believing He will do during our second term!
Merry Christmas!!
Today we celebrate Christmas in the United States for the first time in years. It is great to be with family, and to enjoy the day with folks we don’t normally see at Christmas. Although we are grateful to be here, we also miss celebrating Christmas in Argentina. It is distinct. It is summer in Argentina, so it is really hot. Picture Christmas and July 4th jammed into one day. People grill out and Christmas begins with fire works. Of course none of this has anything to do with Christmas. That is the great thing about what Christmas is really about. We can celebrate Jesus whether we are in Argentina or in the United States! It really is about about Jesus!
From our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope you enjoy this day with family and friends, but most of all by spending time with our sweet Savior Jesus!
Quick Update: Celebrating Christmas!
Pastor Matías is doing a great job leading the church! Faith Baptist Church is preparing for the special Christmas Service. Pastor Eric is working with a newly formed choir to sing special Christmas music while the Pastor Matías continues to prepare the church as a whole. In the past few weeks, the adolescent ministry and the Ladies Bible Study ministry have both had their special Christmas services. The youth will be having their special Christmas service this weekend. Our Christmas service will be this Thursday. We are so grateful to celebrate the birth of our Savior, and to remember not just that He came, but why He came, to pay for our sins and save us! Thank you for praying for the ministry in Argentina!
