This week is another special week for our church and ministry in Argentina. We have had Tyler Ellis as an intern with us for the past 6 months. This Sunday will be his last services with us. He will be preaching the Sunday evening service. After the evening service we will be having a special fellowship. Tyler is very loved at Faith Baptist Church. He has made a lot of friends and everyone is sad to see him go. Pray with us that God use Tyler as he continues to follow God’s will for his life.

This weekend is just a normal weekend for us. We don’t have any special services, any special meetings, or any special conference. That is not to say that we don’t have anything going on. It will all start tonight with our youth night. Our youth group is growing. It is one of my favorite times of the week. We are seeing the group grow spiritually as we learn more of the Bible. Tomorrow we will have visitation and discipleship classes. On Sunday we will have our morning and afternoon services as well as more discipleship classes. We are thankful for each opportunity to teach, preach, and invite others. Pray with us that God blesses each moment!

We started our mission conference yesterday with a wonderful service! We have a missionary from Peru preaching the conference. This is such an exciting time for our church. Last night we focused in on the need around the world. We currently support two missionaries as a church and our hoping to be able to support more in the coming year. We will continue the conference with a service tonight. During the service we will focus in on the need here in the country of Argentina. We will end the conference on Sunday where we will be focusing in on the need in the southern zone of Buenos Aires, where we are located. The need is great but the laborers are few. Pray with us that God raises up men in Argentina to advance the Gospel around the world!

Biggest Attendance Yet, Baptisms, and Upcoming Missions Conference

The ministry God has given us here is continuing to grow and we are very thankful for the opportunity to serve Him in Argentina. We had a wonderful October where we had our biggest attendance yet! We had 3 people baptized during one of the services, all 3 of which are in discipleship classes! Our Mother’s Day service (Mother’s Day was October 20) was a big success. We were blessed to have several mothers and their families who attended the service. We currently have two young men enrolled in our Bible college. Both men are growing and are involved in every service of our church. We are thankful for the way the Lord is working! 

Our big event this month is our Mission Conference. Faith Baptist Church currently supports two missionaries (a young Argentine man who is a missionary to Burkina Faso and a Chilean family who are missionaries to Ecuador). We will be focussing on the need in Buenos Aires, the other provinces of Argentina as well as the other countries around the world.
