Quick Update: Decisions made at Camp

January 26, 2024 by Patrick Leave a Comment

We had a wonderful time at camp with many decisions made. It was great to see how God worked in the hearts of the campers. We now have young men and women who are reading the Bible daily for the first time in their lives. God also worked in the hearts of campers about sharing their faith and we have already seen the results with evangelism training. I am so thankful to see how the Lord is at work! The highlight of camp was when a young man named Nahuel received Jesus as his Savior! It was a great camp!

Coming up…

  • We have exciting news to share this Friday (you will receive an email with the news)!
  • We will have two people baptized this Sunday evening.
  • We have a wedding at Faith Baptist Church on February 10.
  • We have two more people getting baptized on Sunday morning of February 11.

The Lord is at work and the devil is attacking, The Lord will win, we are humbled, grateful, and excited about the ministry that God has given us. We need your prayers!

Serving Together,

Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry

Quick Update: Camp 2024

January 19, 2024 by Patrick Leave a Comment

We started our annual summer camp yesterday and we are excited about it! We have just over 50 campers this year, and we are praying that the Lord is going to work in the heart of each person. This is a great time for dedication to the Lord, for a little rest, and for getting away from all of the things going on in life to seek the Lord among other brothers and sisters in Christ.

Please pray for our camp and for each camper, that God uses the preaching of His Word, and the discipleship times to guide each camper.

Serving Together,

Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry

A New Year with New Goals and New Opportunities!

Happy New Year! We are excited about 2024 and what the Lord has for us! 2023 was a wonderful year of growth and development, we are trusting the Lord for great things in 2024! We have many goals for this year, and we look forward to sharing them with you in the next months!

This year starts off with our annual Vision service. This is a time where we look back over the past year and look forward to this year. We will share the theme for 2024, the specific goals we have and how we plan to reach those goals. This year’s theme is Discipleship, something we have emphasized since we started the church, and something we want to take to the next level. Please pray for the Vision and the discipleship program.

We will also have our second annual camp this month. We learned so much from camp on last year, and we are looking forward to this time with the church family. The young men who are training for the ministry are heading up camp this year, and they have everything prepared for it to be a success! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support.

Serving Together,

Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for the Vision service.
  • Pray for our discipleship program.
  • Pray for the evangelism efforts of Faith Baptist Church.

Quick Update: Salvations and End of Year Service

December 29, 2023 by Patrick Leave a Comment

This Sunday will be our last service of the year, and we will be observing the two ordinances of the church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Pablo has been attending the church for several months now, two weeks ago we sat down and I shared with him the plan of salvation, that morning Pablo received Jesus as His Savior! We sat down last week and I taught him what baptism is (and what it is not). Pablo will be getting baptized on Sunday!

Isis is a young lady who visited us on December 24. I preached on the birth of Jesus and why He came to earth, to die for our sins. Isis came up to me after the service and told me she wanted to be saved! Leslie and I took her to the office and she received Jesus as her Savior that morning! We are grateful to see how God is working in the church. Please pray for Pablo and Isis as they begin their new lives in Christ!
