This Sunday will be another special Sunday. Ricardo and Clara will be getting baptized! Ricardo put his faith in Jesus a few months back during a discipleship class. He has recently completed our discipleship. Pray for his family, they are not saved. His daughter has attended the past two Sunday night services! His wife and son have yet to attend but we are praying they will soon, that they will hear the Gospel and be saved!

Clara is over 70 years old. She lives across the street from the church. She believed on Jesus a couple of months ago as well after attending a few of our services. She is being discipled by one of our church members. Her husband has attended church a few times but is not saved. Several of her grandchildren (adults with children) and great grandchildren have attended as well. We are praying for their salvation too!

We are excited to have the opportunity to baptize the new believers and look forward to see how God uses them in the days to come!

From the Mission Conference to Christmas

We had our mission conference in November. We had great attendance en each service. We were also able to share specific goals for 2020 about church planting and world evangelism. The two young men who are training in our ministry were able to really make the conference something special. These men separately came to the church and God has been working in them. They have surrendered to be in the ministry and our training with us. We also have another young man on the cusp of surrendering his life to be in the ministry. These are exciting days!

We have several special events in December. We will have our annual Christmas celebration. This will be on the December 22. The services will include a Christmas songs, a fellowship after each service with Christmas themed treats, and a Christmas photo booth! We also will have a baptismal service. We have two people already lined up to be baptized. We hope to have more on that special day. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support as we continue serving Jesus in Argentina! Pray with us that God blesses our church in December and as 2019 ends.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for our baptismal service.
• Pray for our special Christmas celebration.
• Pray for 2 more men to surrender to serve Jesus in the ministry.
• Pray for each of the young believers who are currently going through discipleship.

This week is another special week for our church and ministry in Argentina. We have had Tyler Ellis as an intern with us for the past 6 months. This Sunday will be his last services with us. He will be preaching the Sunday evening service. After the evening service we will be having a special fellowship. Tyler is very loved at Faith Baptist Church. He has made a lot of friends and everyone is sad to see him go. Pray with us that God use Tyler as he continues to follow God’s will for his life.

This weekend is just a normal weekend for us. We don’t have any special services, any special meetings, or any special conference. That is not to say that we don’t have anything going on. It will all start tonight with our youth night. Our youth group is growing. It is one of my favorite times of the week. We are seeing the group grow spiritually as we learn more of the Bible. Tomorrow we will have visitation and discipleship classes. On Sunday we will have our morning and afternoon services as well as more discipleship classes. We are thankful for each opportunity to teach, preach, and invite others. Pray with us that God blesses each moment!
