We are in the midst of cleaning and repairing things in the new church building. It seems like every step we take forward, we take two steps back. There are several things we have to do and of course it will take a lot of money. Please pray with us that God will supply the funds to complete these repairs.

On Sunday morning, we will continue our series on marriage. This has been a blessing and we are praying that God will use each message to strengthen the marriages in Faith Baptist Church. This Sunday will also be the first service for one of our young men to teach a Bible verse to our church. This is a huge step in his growth as God continues to work in him. We will be practicing this special lesson tonight before the youth meeting!

Sunday night, will be the first of many services to prepare the families attending Faith Baptist Church for our organizing service (which will take place in a few months). There are a lot of things that must be discussed. Please pray for these first of many services that will help build these believers to become a united body of believers.

This past week we were able to pay a deposit on the building we are in the process of buying.  Although we have not closed on the new building, we were given the keys so that we can start working on cleaning, painting, and repairing the things that are broken. Tomorrow, during the Sunday night service, we will go over to the new building, showing everyone our future as a church, taking a time to pray and thank God for what He has given us, and enjoying a fellowship afterwards. This will be a special time in the life of Faith Baptist Church. Several have already committed to helping with all the work that needs to be done so that we can move in and I believe many more will jump in on this commitment tomorrow as we see the new building.

Please pray that God gets the glory in all of this!

A New Year, A New Theme, A New Building 

January is Summer in Argentina and we have had several families away on vacation. Even so, God has blessed so much this month! Two big events happened this month that has shaped our future. We had our Vision service, explaining our theme for the year as a church, our goals we hope to reach and challenges we hope to complete in 2019. It was a huge service for us. The other big event was how God has provided for the new building we are in the process of purchasing. Several churches, friends, and family have donated to pay for the church building! We announced this to the church and everyone was overjoyed! Thank you to all who have given. This has been a huge answer to our prayers. We still have a lot to do to repair the building as we prepare to move in, but we know God will provide! We are so thankful for the many churches who gave to make this possible. Thank you! We now are walking through the process of purchasing the building and it looks like we will be in the building in March!
