We have our Mission Director, Jeffrey Bush, with us this week. We also have our first annual mission conference. This will be the first time for most everyone in the church to be a part of a conference focusing on the need for world evangelism. The church is decked out in flags from countries around the world. We have videos from missionaries going to Burkina Faso (an Argentine) and to Ecuador (a Chilean). It all starts tonight with the first service.

We are very happy to have Brother Jeff with us. He is a huge blessing to our church, my family, and to myself. Please pray for these special meetings and the time we have with our mission director.

Mother’s Day and Mission Conference

October was an incredible month for us! We had our Mother’s Day service which tied the largest attendance we have had in a service to date, 46 people attended the service! We had a large ladies fellowship. We also started discipleship with 3 more people! We are thankful for how God is working at Faith Baptist Church!

We will be having our first mission conference in November. It will be a Saturday and Sunday conference. We will have a meal and special message on Saturday night. Several families have already told us they look forward to being there. Our mission director, Jeff Bush, will be coming down to visit during November. I look forward to receiving his counsel as he sees the church and the different ministries we are involved in. Thank you for praying for us.

Searching for a Building

We have been renting a building since we started the church. The rental contract will be coming to a close in the next few months. We are now searching for a building to buy for the church. We have some money saved up for this, we will not have enough to purchase and we are trusting God in this. Pray that God direct us with this opportunity!

• Pray for our first mission conference on November 08-09.

• Pray we find a building to purchase for Faith Baptist Church.

• Pray for our discipleship program, that we get more individuals involved.

• Pray for the new families visiting Faith Baptist Church.

• Pray for the individuals who are visiting the church to be saved!

Last Sunday matched our record attendance! It was an incredible day. The Lord is growing His church and we are blessed to be a part of it. This Sunday will be another exciting day for us! We will be starting discipleship with two people who were recently saved through the ministry. It will be in between the two services.  This is an important step for these new believers. After the Sunday night service we will be having a fellowship to celebrate the birthdays of October. This is a chance for our young church to get to know each other more over food, fun, and games.

This may seem strange, but we celebrate Mother’s Day in October in Argentina. This Sunday is Mother’s Day and we are looking forward to a big day, but everything starts tomorrow. We have a ladies fellowship tomorrow afternoon. We already have several ladies who have told us they will be attending. Please pray for this special meeting. Sunday morning is also a big service. We have passed out well over 2000 invitations for this specific service. We have a gift for every mother who attends. We are praying for a big day. Please pray this way with us.

God is working in our church. We have several who are attending who are not saved and God is working in their hearts. We hope to see them saved very soon. Pray for God to continue to work in their hearts.
