Bible Classes and Mother’s Day

We enjoyed seeing many wonderful things take place throughout the month, including a Pastor’s Fellowship and our annual Family Photo Day. We are grateful to see how God continues to work in Hope Baptist Church.

Faith Baptist Church also had a wonderful month, including a special youth event with two other churches. Pastor Matías is doing a great job leading and serving the church. The church is growing, young Christians are growing in their faith, and they are sharing the Gospel with others.

We also hosted a Pastor’s Fellowship at Hope Baptist Church, with several pastors from the greater Buenos Aires and La Plata areas in attendance. These fellowships are a great opportunity to encourage other pastors as they continue to serve the Lord. We seek to be a blessing through the fellowship itself, the preaching of God’s Word, providing Bible materials they can use in their local churches, and offering special events. For example, we are planning a marriage retreat for pastors in February, which we believe will be a great blessing to those who are able to attend.

The highlight of October will be Mother’s Day. We will begin the morning with a church-wide breakfast. This is something we started last year, and it has quickly become something the church family looks forward to each year. We will also continue our Bible Classes. We are offering two classes this quarter: the men’s class is studying the life of Moses, while the ladies’ class is studying the grace of God as demonstrated in the lives of specific men and women in the Bible. These classes provide opportunities for others to use their gifts as they teach and serve.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. We are truly grateful for each of you and thankful that we have the privilege of serving together to reach others with the Gospel.

In Christ,

Patrick, Leslie, Lily, Piper, Ivy, and Isla Henry
