Adjustments: An Introduction

June 13, 2017 by Patrick Leave a Comment

I am still learning to adjust my way of life as well as the way I think. We have lived in Argentina for 1 year and 2 months. A missionary must adjust his life. This is not done overnight. It takes time, effort, and a lot of learning. I have learned to be humble and laugh at myself (along with others). This is the beginning of a series of posts about the adjustments we have made, we are making, and we are currently learning to make! Of course every specific topic has a story! I am very far from being an authority in this. I have a long way to go! Some things that I will be posting about will be…

  • Food
  • Greeting people
  • Driving
  • Language
  • Applications for residency
  • Doctor visits
  • Renting a house
  • Buying groceries
  • Visa Renewals

All of these adjustments are just part of the process. We have learned to make it fun. Look for posts in the next weeks concerning missionary adjustments.
