A New Pastor Ordained and an Anniversary Service

We had a blessed month of April in the ministry. Our Pastor, Derik Lawrence, came with his wife and our missions director to be a part of the ordination council and service of Pastor Matías. This was our first time ordaining a man in the ministry God has given us and it was a great blessing. Both Matías, his family, Faith Baptist Church, and Leslie and I were blessed by the ordination service. Pastor, Mrs. Lawrence, and our mission director were also a great blessing to our family, we were encouraged by their visit! Our Pastor was also able to preach at our pastors’ fellowship, and at both Faith and Hope Baptist Churches. Faith Baptist Church also celebrated their eighth anniversary, which fell on Easter Sunday. I am thankful for how the Lord continues to work in the ministry at Faith and how the Lord is using Pastor Matías and the other believers in the church!

We continue the ministry this month with a few special events, Leslie will be teaching at a ladies fellowship, we will also be starting English Classes as an evangelistic tool in Hope Baptist Church. Missionary Robbie Prater will be teaching the classes. God continues to bless His work and we are grateful!
